Bio
Brian was born and raised in Newport Beach, CA. He is a registered Architect holding membership in both The American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Board and is registered in multiple states. Brian has called Nashville home for over 12 years. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Art Photography from The Rhode Island School of Design in 1988 and his Masters degree in Architecture at Virginia Polytechnic in 1994. Brian has a strong background in art, art history, theory, philosophy, and both technical and art photography - all of which he integrates into his architectural practice. He has traveled extensively throughout the world and in 1993 lived in Switzerland while working directly with Olivio Ferrari. Brian continues to travel as part of his personal and architectural life, is an active member within his community, and maintains a close dialog with his alma maters. He has coached a local middle school lacrosse team since 2001 and was married in 2005.

Bio
Jim graduated in 1992 from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has since worked on a variety of project types and participated in a number of award-winning designs. As a Facilities Manager, he was involved with the relocation of the Sears Corporation from the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois, to the new 1.5 million square foot facility in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. While employed at Tuck-Hinton Architects, he was the Project Director of the IMAX Theater in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the Montgomery Bell Academy Wilson Library Renovation. Jim was also the Project Manager for the Frist Center for the Visual Arts - Phase I and the Project Manager on the recently completed Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. He continues to stay active in the Country Music Foundation assisting in piloting an education program aimed at introducing schools to the Architectural expressions of country music found in the museum. Jim also continues his speaking engagements, which help bring Architecture to the public. Jim has developed a unique and extensive expertise in the negotiation of planning and codes issues with various municipalities in the middle Tennessee region.

Construction is set to begin on eight live-work townhomes Regent Development is building at its Lenox Village New Urbanism Project on Nolensville Road south of Old Hickory Blvd.. The structures will enable owners to have neighborhood retail or office space on the first level with residential space on the second and or third levels. Designed by Nashville architecture firm Inform, Smallwood & Nickle LLC, the buildings come in two designs: The Corner Store and The Market Street.
